As part of a journey to Morocco, it makes good sense (nay, it’s important) to find totally different areas exterior of Marrakech. Marrakech is an amazing and thrilling place full of enticing smells, intriguing sights, nice sounds and tinged with the slightest hint of hazard… Alas I’m afraid that remaining one may have been barely made up in my head! lol! It felt very protected in Morocco – manic nonetheless protected.
I digress, what I was attempting to say was that Marrakech is nice nonetheless there could also be quite a bit further to Morocco than Marrakech and so all of us figured we’d go exploring the Atlas Mountains. I’d wish to say we did it off the cuff and easily rented a vehicle and drove nonetheless this was an organised journey and we had a driver, our private 4 X 4, a mint tea break and lunch (all at a price in any case!).
The journey forwards and backwards was an all day journey (8am till 5pm-ish) and I fully liked it. It was such a singular experience and definitely a totally pleasing one. Proper right here it goes…
We started off at an space pottery retailer…
Moved on to camels(?) – merely kidding, there was an amazing vista behind the camels nonetheless I purchased distracted by the camels
Subsequent we stopped on the a Berber village…
Explored the village in extra depth…
Purchased served some mint tea (and bread with olive oil) sooner than heading off for lunch…
Took in extra views of the mountains…
Accomplished off at a home made argan oil manufacturing facility… (The scent was very good!)
